THE GRADUATE SCHOOL
The Graduate School of Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, PAS was organized
to assist the best students in achieving Ph.D. degrees in organic chemistry
and biochemistry. The Ph.D. studies last 4 years and are devoted to following
subjects:
nucleic acids and their components - chemical synthesis, structure and functional
properties
structure-function relationship, rentgenostructural, NMR spectroscopic analyses
and computer modeling of nucleic acids and proteins
plant molecular biology and molecular physiology - mechanisms of regulation
of gene expression and development of transgenic plants
nucleic acids and proteins metabolism
biomedical aspects of gene organization and expression
bioinformatical analyses of gene evolution and genomes architecture
The candidates are accepted to Graduate School after a qualifying interview
and an admission examination. The Ph.D. students are recruited amongst the most
promising graduates of biology, chemistry, biotechnology, informatics and physics
of Poznań universities.
